This is not an oil spill. Will it be a "spill" when millions of people in Florida, Texas and bordering states get sick or lose consciousness from the fumes in the air that will not dissipate? The corporate media, government officials and oil company executives continue to call the volcano of continuous gushing oil that is befouling the fragile Gulf ecosystem a spill.
A volcano that outflows over 21 million gallons of crude oil a week is NOT a spill. The common definition of a spill is: Liquid that fell out of a container, a one time occurrence- not a massive flow with no end in sight. There is a difference between a tanker spilling oil and the earth continuously spewing out oil from 35,000 within her bowels.
The definition of gush is to flow forth suddenly and violently. What we are faced with in the Gulf is a continuous and monster gusher of crude oil that has no known termination point.
So its a spill? No, its more than that. We have cut a vein in the earth and caused internal bleeding. This is a gusher. How long will the monetary cartels continue to call this gusher a mere spill or leak? Will people have to convulse and hemorrhage from their internal organs and lungs before the corporate media will show at least a modicum of truthfulness?
According to officials, soon the stench might become overwhelming on the Gulf coast and may not go away. This could impact the world permanently. The air will be poisonous and deadly, more so. Crude oil is composed of polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons, xylenes, hydrogen sulfide, benzene, toluene, ethlbenzene, trimethylbenzene, and other combination of toxic chemicals.
According to the federal register and OSHA, these are all extremely hazardous substances. Exposure can cause serious health conditions. High concentrations of hydrogen sulfide can cause headaches, dizziness, loss of consciousness and/or death.
With the approach of hurricane season, this adds to the damage that can be done. Any intense storm that hits the Gulf could produce unheard of destruction. Yet in the face of these facts our "free", "unbiased" media insists on calling this continuous gushing volcano of toxic crude oil a spill.
The damage done here is a thousand times worse that 9/11, with permanent ecological, economic and even agricultural impacts. Yet the people who orchestrated this disaster, and those who have failed to truly find a resolve go unabated.
So I ask you, has there ever been more evidence that the International Monetary/Banking cartel that own the major oil companies own our media as well? If you live near the coast, or care enough about this planet we all share, and wish for it to be clean and healthy for our future generations, contact your local media and officials and demand the facts be brought to the surface.
